Why 4 1/2 Days?
In preparing for the course in London this April, I had updated some of the process and added some new material that had been developed during the time that the world seemed to be going crazy related to the economy. My experience with companies of all sizes during that time had been that everybody was “hunkering down”, meaning they were being careful about the money they were spending and focusing on their core business. But I knew that if ever there was a time for companies to be establishing or re-establishing the foundation for success — which is what the executive team alignment does — that time is now.
I developed what I am calling The New ExecuTAP, and I tried to shorten it to 3 1/2 days. However, despite extraordinarily positive feedback at the end, everyone, including me, said the same thing: WE NEEDED MORE TIME! I made sure everyone was made whole by offering and conducting some post-sessions, and everyone seemed pleased and satisfied.
So the answer to the question, “why 4 1/2 days?”, is because it just takes that long.
